Banksy is a very outspoken person, he's not afraid to say or show anything in his artwork. This means his artworks have a meaning, depending what is going on in the world at that time. Banksy basically speaks for the people, telling all those 'higher ups' how the people feel about their actions or decisions. His artwork is quite simple but this simplistic style works out well at conveying his message. He uses children as a way to display that the world isn't for us, it's for the next generation and the next. Banksy is more of a pacifist speaking against war, using images of children, famous titles or famous people. In the top image there are drawings of flowers that look like they have been drawn by crayons, this links in with the child holding the gun because the ammunition looks like coloured crayons.
